Who we are
This website is run by Claire Procter and Nick Cerca, trading as Mighty Ant, Unit 9, Ingleton Industrial Estate, LA6 3NU. We decide how the personal information described here is used, which makes us the data controller.
If you have a question or a complaint about how we handle your information, email nick@mighty-ant.co.uk. We’ll acknowledge it within 30 days and reply in full as soon as we can.
What we collect
When you use the contact form, we collect your name, your business name, your email address, your phone number if you give it, and your message.
When you email or call us, we keep what you send or tell us so we can reply.
This website doesn’t use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.
Why we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry and, if you want to, to talk about working together. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
We won’t add you to a mailing list or send you marketing unless you ask us to.
Who else handles it
- Netlify hosts this website and receives contact form messages on our behalf. Netlify is based in the US and protects transfers of UK data with standard contractual safeguards.
- IONOS provides our email, so messages we receive, including contact form messages forwarded to us, are stored there.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces on this site. When a page loads, your browser requests the font from Google, which sees your IP address.
We don’t sell your information or share it with anyone else, unless the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
If your enquiry doesn’t lead to work together, we delete your details within 12 months. If you become a client, we keep records for as long as we work together and then for up to 6 years, as UK tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, object to us using it, or ask us to limit how we use it. Email nick@mighty-ant.co.uk and we’ll respond within one month.
If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We’d appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we use your information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
